Role Definition:

- The incumbent will be part of Credit Risk COE at Global Risk Group

- Effectively laying down credit risk policies for different asset classes and different SBUs

- Building scoring models for different segment of clients across various products

- Second level of screening of credit proposals for Wholesale Credit and SME business

- Independent evaluation of portfolio and collateral risk

- Constant updation of industry developments

- Analysis of Macro, industry and micro trends and its likely impact on the portfolio

- Developing a model for early warning signal

- Person will be responsible for making proposal

- Someone who is going to monitor security that is been given by client

- Competition Analysis

- Sharing best practice

- Preferred will be someone who is blend of both making proposal as well as decision maker

Functional Skills:

- Knowledge of underwriting large loan proposals. Ability to cross link underwriting experience to multiple industries.

- Handled Corporate and High net worth client.

- Handled ticket size 500 Crs.

- Managed pre-sanctioned and post sanctioned activities.

- In depth knowledge of cash flow, balance sheet analysis, ratios, etc.

- Ability to dissect structures of credit proposals, identify gaps and suggest mitigations.

- Should have worked in similar roles earlier.

- Knowledge of Risk assessment, risk mitigation, risk event management techniques.

- Managing portfolio.

Soft skills:

- Ability to communicate & influence at all levels

- Goal oriented, highly motivated and engaged person

- Analytic ability to understand the diverse complex business issues, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.

- Quality - high standards and controls, strong facilitation and negotiation skills.

- Effective interpersonal skills for interfacing with senior and line management.

- Good leadership skills in motivating review team members comprising colleagues within different SBUs and Enterprise functions.
