This position would lead the business management of Global Financial Control India (GFCI) organization while partnering with global leadership in driving a range of activities & initiatives horizontally, including but limited to transformation, process design, recruitment, training, risk & controls etc. The position will report into the Global Financial Control (GFC) India Head and would have a dotted line reporting into the head of GFC Strategic Initiatives.
Responsibilities:-
- Drive all strategic initiatives that GFCI leads or supports
- Change management: Drive integration, synergies and best practices across GFCI
- Strategy & Execution: Connecting the dots across the organization to help support overall GFC priorities
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives with GFCI Operational Excellence and Emerging Technology Leads with appropriate tracking & governance
- Resource Management: Manage hiring, attrition, space planning & coordination, capacity utilization
- New Migrations: End to end program management of new migrations
- Governance: Manage all governance routines for GFCI e.g. monthly executive package, business reviews and operating councils
- Reporting & Analysis: Functional and metrics reporting, allocation & tracking of budgets, forecasts, expense management; tracking of variance and course corrections
- Risk & Controls: Drive risk & controls measures with appropriate reporting along with GFCI Operational Risk Lead
- People agenda/ communication/ branding: Drive common culture and agenda across all GFCI functions
- Any other strategic or tactical responsibilities, regular or adhoc, as required
Candidate Profile :-
- Deep hands on experience of having worked in finance roles in comparable corporations or adequate stints in senior business transformation roles as a part of a similar finance utility
- Strong analytical and fact-based decision making ability to meaningfully analyze and present complex data
- Project Management skills with ability to cope with delivery within very tight deadlines and under high pressure
- Ability to prioritize work to maximize performance
- Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership and others levels within the Bank; excellent verbal & written skills and effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with a culturally diverse group of peers and colleagues in a globally-matrixed, multi-geography and multi-cultural offshore service delivery environment
- Proven experience of providing thought leadership and leading without direct authority
- Ability to act independently with a strong work ethic to formulate solutions in a complex fast-paced environment
- Executive presence to interact with senior stakeholders
- Prior experience of managing continuous change with a comprehensive understanding of risk and compliance, regulatory protocols, business continuity programs and evolving learning needs
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
