AVP/VP - Cluster Head - Branch Operations - Retail Branch Banking

We have a NEW position in BRANCH BANKING in one of the BEST MNC banking brand across :

Position : AVP / VP - Cluster head branch operations [ Retail branch banking ] - GUJARAT Circle

Designation : AVP / VP

Work Location : Surat

CTC : Negotiable , depending upon current CTC, experience, education and profile / portfolio of business.

Responsibilities:

Job Purpose : 

- Managing and controlling the cluster of branches in a region and ensuring smooth functioning of the branches.

- Accomplish a clean audit rating and ensuring that branches are audit ready in line with regulatory and internal guidelines

- Supervise and guide branches on all operational related matters.

- Identify areas of improvement and development of new process & policies.

- Ensure that BCP policy is implemented for branches in that region.

- Taking regular huddles with branch ops heads and ensuring that branches are compliant with process and changes in guidelines.

- Handling & resolving queries raised by internal and external customers.

- Ensure operation dashboards are published and tracked.

Key Accountabilities : 

- Compliance with all regulatory and internal guidelines and policies relevant to T&O.

- Manage audit at branch and ensure minimum satisfactory rating at all times.

- Ensure smooth functioning of the branch by supervising activities relating to Customer Service & Payments & Branch operations and Adherence to agreed TATs with business thereby ensuring customer satisfaction.

- To maintain an efficient, knowledgeable and professional approach and expertise in your domain. Process and Product improvement and initiatives to be taken through ideation and ensuring zero errors.

- Ensure quality initiatives taken at each branch level in the cluster.

Job Duties & responsibilities : 

- Manage & control all operational related functions of the branch with zero errors.

- Ensure adequate coordination with centralized operations teams to maintain high quality service and internal and external customer satisfaction.

- Ensure timely receipt and submission of regulatory and other reports by the Branches in the cluster.

- Participate in process improvement exercises within T&O.

- Identify areas where productivity enhancement and cost reduction initiatives can be introduced.

Core Competencies : 

- Knowledge of all aspects of branch banking and Operations.

- Good understanding and working experience of regulatory and compliance aspects relating to this.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills to build & enhance customer relation and co-ordination with RMs & Centralized operations.

- Leadership & management skills.

Work Relationship :

- Effective communication between self and superior

- Inter-personal skills & team player

- Liaison with internal and external clients, Regulatory bodies where required.

- Liaison with Central Operations, other branches and other Banks

- Display of RED Attitude ( Reliable, Easy to deal with & Dependable)

REQUIREMENT :

1. Candidates handling BRANCH BANKING OPERATIONS ONLY from BANKS.

2. Incase cluster heads / AVP / VP profiles are handling both sales & operations, the ratio has to be 70% operations & 30% sales.

3.Female candidates preferred ( not mandatory ). Can relocate from any part of India.

CANDIDATES handling 70% sales profiles as cluster heads / zonal heads, pls excuse ! This is a specialist operations profile.
