Position-AVP/VP-Change Risk Manager

The incumbent will be a senior member of the Change Risk Management function and will be responsible for the development and implementation of a change risk assessment capability.

This will primarily be focused on the change portfolio however will also extend to ensuring there is oversight of the - maintain the bank- (MTB) book of work managed by IT and that we are involved in assessing key changes to core systems prior to go live.

Working to implement appropriate governance to assess the impact of such change on the Operational Risk profile and hence the level of involvement required in each component of the change portfolio. This should include tracking and reporting on the risk to benefits realisation.

- Support the Head of Change Risk Management in implementation of Change Risk Assessment Framework

- Provide consistent reporting on engagements with change initiatives risk operations - including evidence of optimal resource allocation and robust cost control.

- Effective implementation or delivery of process and control improvements without impacting on business as usual processes

- Regularly review the business risk management priorities, activities, structure and resources, optimally aligning to business needs and risk appetite.

- Implement supporting strategies, policies and procedures to ensure that operational (and other) risks are managed closely and effectively, in a commercially sensitive and practical manner.

- Drive to ensure that all controls gaps are understood by the business and the appropriate actions (and/or risk acceptance) have been put in place to address any issues.
