Roles and Responsibilities As the Vertical Head of Sales this person will be responsible for the direction and management of the sales activities across the organisation. - To develop and implement a cohesive sales plan to increase conversions and revenue. - To understand client requirements and create a demand for PRO's products and services mainly through new business & existing accounts. - To develop business cases, proposal strategies and lead overall proposal activities for customers' RFP. - To meet or exceed all revenue and gross margin targets for existing and new / lapsed accounts - To lead the BD teams and elevate its level to a skillful, efficient industry-leading unit. - To provide timely forecasts of revenue, business capture, sales and orders booking, status of pursuits and proposals - To conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth - To generate, maintain, and present sales management artifacts and tools such as strategic sales plans, account plans, sales funnels, capture plans and order forecasts. - To coach and support sales team, participate in conferences, seminars/webinars, workshops, knowledge sharing and strategy sessions with Business Development, Strategy, Marketing and Technical teams Qualifications: - Bachelors/Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or Engineering; MBA a plus. - Excellent negotiation and leadership skills. - 8+ years sales experience with Strong Consultative selling ability and experience in Software Products and services industry - Ability to elaborate and demonstrate a track record of success. - Demonstrated knowledge of sales and marketing principles and concepts. - Excellent written and oral communication as well as effective presentation skills. - Strong drive to learn new technologies and offerings. - Demonstrated leadership traits, with past cross functional leadership experience a plus. - Personal integrity, professionalism, goal-oriented, results-driven self-starter. - Requires 20% or more travel.
