Role: AVP / VP Actuarial

Profile:

AVP Actuarial - Reinsurance:

1. Computation of reinsurance monthly premium

2. Preparing of quarterly and annual forms for IRDAI

3. Managing receipts and payments with reinsurers

4. Providing timely information to management

5. Managing audit of numbers

Business Planning & Business Deals:

1. Business Plan projections and related metrics

2. Performing stress/sensitivity testing on business plan projections

3. Projecting cash flows and assessing financial viability of partnership distribution deals

4. Ongoing review of deals

5. Any other Analytical activities required to be carried out as and when required.

Prophet Modelling :

1. Modelling new products in Excel and prophet for reserving and Embedded Value calculations

2. Oversee maintenance of a timely, accurate, well-documented, and comprehensive modelling process, including UAT

3. Liasoning with Pricing, Valuation and Embedded Value teams for making required changes to prophet workspace

VP Actuarial: The purpose of the job is to head the overall pricing function in the Actuarial department which includes pricing of individual and group products, system readiness, liaison with reinsurers, group quotation and finally filing and approval of products from Regional office and IRDAI
