AVP/Vice President - Research - Consulting Firm

We are urgently hiring for AVP/ VP - Research profiles for an Advanced Data Analytics firm in Gurgaon location with the below mentioned skill sets.

Experience- 8+ years (Min 5 yrs of Team handling experience)

Responsibilities:

- Manage multiple projects independently - Ultimate responsibility for team output, in terms of quality and timeliness

- Ensure all output is of the highest standards, and instill strong quality orientation across the team

- Team management - Adept at leading a 15- 50-member team for a diverse range of financial services clients

- Product types - Financial statement analysis, pitch books, trading and transaction comparables, company profiles, industry/market analyses, competitive benchmarking, opportunity assessments, and screening potential acquisition targets and strategic/financial buyers, sector landscapes, and capital structure and liquidity analyses

- Understanding of global capital raising, investment, and wealth management mechanism (through various asset classes)

- Work with the Engagement Manager(s) to actively manage clients

- Design and lead career development and training initiatives

- Actively involved in resource and infrastructure planning process for teams

- Contribute to internal goals and building-up research-oriented culture will be a key attribute

Required Background

- 8+ years relevant work experience for AVP position, with an Investment Bank/Investment Research Firm/Consulting Firm or a KPO servicing an Investment Banking client is essential

- MBA from a premium institute. Track record of excellence

- Strong skillset in Corporate Finance/M&A/Equity Research

- Strong communication skills - verbal and written. Prior experience in handling client calls independently is required

- Organizational and team-building skills

- Strong PPT and Excel skills

- Experience using Databases: CapIQ, Factiva, Thomson, Bloomberg, Preqin, Hoovers, Onesource, EIU, and BMI
