AVP/Vice President - Finance - IT Firm

The VP (Finance) would be directly responsible for steering the financial direction of the company and undertake strategic financial planning and analysis, handle aspects of transactions/ investments and corporate finance. Depending on the experience of the candidate and the requirements of the company, the role would may include the following :

Financial Planning & Analysis :

Strong business partnering with the Business Leaders including :

- Partner with the business to influence strategic decisions that grow revenue, market share, profitability and achieve its top priorities

- Drive a robust forecasting process identifying risks, sensitivities, and underlying assumptions

- Manages financial processes end-to-end and works toward optimal practices.

- Provide business and financial leadership to optimize for overall profitability.

- Make and influence balanced decisions and trade-offs to optimize resources, maximize revenue returns and deliver peak gross margin and operating profit growth.

M&A and Investor Relations :

Manage global M&A, Investor relations and other related functions in the organization including :

- Manage relationships and generate leads with the external investment ecosystem, e.g., Investment banks, PE/VC funds and internal stakeholders, e.g., Business units, Practice leads

- Jointly work with the Business leads to build a business case / investment case on potential acquisition opportunities for Executive Council and Board approval

- Manage and coordinate the deal process including leading evaluation, preparing financial models, developing deal structures, analyzing and preparing term sheets

- Develop and implement investment relations plan, manage investor community's perception of the company and incorporate their views in the development of corporate strategy

Corporate Finance :

Create financial plans and strategies that support the overall business objectives including :

- Take accountability for aspects of financial stewardship and delivery of corporate finance

- Provide leadership to the Finance strategy, to optimize the company's financial performance and strategic position

- Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth

- Fund management - arrange for equity and debt financing for an optimal capital structure
