AVP - Valuation - Independent Price Verification - BFSI

Team Overview :

Valuation projects are part of Finance function looking into new projects for Global valuations. Team mainly works on strategic projects within Finance-valuations that vary across regulatory, IPV Testing, daily revaluation etc. With increased focus on global consistency in IPV and reporting, the team is building a Global solution for collating and reporting FOS data. The current role is specifically required to build such reporting solution using Excel as frontend and MySQL as the backend.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Discuss issues/enhancements to improve existing IPV processes, aid in designing a controlled IT framework for migration of Spreadsheet IPV processes.

- Support/Run Month-End reports in DB. Help onshore team with adhoc requests/analysis.

- Maintain projects (outside IT framework) developed by Projects team for Global Valuations.

- Help in development of new project initiatives.

Key Skills :

- Experience in Independent price verification

- Experience in valuation of financial products

- Acquaintance to IPV/ product valuation methodologies

- In Depth knowledge of Risks Greeks (FID & Equity)

- Prior experience in Control function.

- Programming languages: Excel, VBA (Expert Level)

- Should be flexible in shifts
