Position Responsibilities

- Assist the Team Management in the oversight of the daily activities.

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all instructions on the Transfer Agency Register to the highest individual and team standards and in accordance with the applicable procedures, policies, checklists and fund prospectus.

- Escalate with urgency any instructions that are unclear or cannot be processed in a timely manner to the appropriate party for clarification.

- Adhere to internal procedures & controls to ensure 4-eyes principle is applied at all times.

- Receive, investigate and respond to internal queries in a timely and accurate manner.

- Demonstrate and apply thorough Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Customer awareness and knowledge.

- Actively participate in the creation and maintenance of procedures and process improvements.

- Contribute towards the timely and accurate compilation of departmental KPIs on a daily basis.

- Support the Transfer Agency Manager by engaging in internal projects and testing as required.

- Facilitate the completion of regular and ad-hoc client, investor and regulatory reporting requirements in a timely, accurate and professional manner for submission to the Transaction Processing Manager.

- Support to Transaction Processing Manager through investigation and analysis and provision of relevant data, to resolve client queries as required.

- Ability to communicate effectively within the team and across other Transfer Agency teams.

- Solid interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with individuals and within the team.Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and to learn quickly.

- Should be a thorough Subject Matter Expert & a process coach. Proactive in identifying and escalation potential areas of risk.

- Good problem solving skills. Ability to work under pressure in a volume driven environment.

- Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work.

- Ability to work quickly with accuracy and with the minimum of supervision whilst adhering to existing control procedures.

Education & Qualifications

- Bachelors degree or equivalent (business discipline preferred).

- Minimum 5 years in Financial Services Industry, preferably with 3 years in Transfer Agency. Working knowledge of at least one Transfer Agency administration system.

- Highly PC literate ideally with extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook or similar email program.

- Fluency in English written and spoken.
