AVP -Technical Accounting__with Emerging Company

This role would be part of the Controllership team with focus on technical accounting. This would involve the following:

- Doing high-quality research work on complex technical accounting matters

- Preparing accounting memos basis the research done & engaging with the Company's auditor for closure

- Maintaining comprehensive Ind AS checklist for the Company including updating the same for changes in business and/ or Ind AS

- Performing benchmarking for disclosures in the Company's financial results/ financial statements with Big4 illustrative financial statements & industry practice

- Provide support on effective implementation of ICOFR controls including development/ update RCMs and SOPs for the finance function

- Support on implementation of CARO, 2020

Who fits the bill?

- Chartered Accountant with 9+ years of post-qualification work experience in Ind AS, IFRS and audit- exposure in technical accounting department of a large firm/ company is preferable

- Person should be a self-starter

- Should be a solution provider

- Should be a team player & be able to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders

- Must be able to prioritize what's important against urgency & manage pressure

- Ability to deal with ambiguity & ever-changing needs/ environment

- Highest levels of integrity & responsibility
