Position : AVP - Tax Operations Cost Basis

Experience Required : 8-16 years

Job Location : Bangalore

Job Summary :

The candidate will be responsible for managing daily Tax activities relating to cost basis. The activities include managing of all the transactions are fed into the downstream application (Maxit) to capture correct cost details, resolution of any exceptions, transfer processing, and validation of client 1099B forms.

Responsibilities:

In addition to the above core activities the candidate is expected to meet the below requirements:

Act as a Subject Matter Expert for cost basis tax processes

Manage the Tax Process for all businesses supported by Operational Tax as per the requirement

Produce Tax MIS and maintain full audit trails

Review the processes undertaken within the team and redevelop and redesign where cost savings/efficiencies can be made

Ensure continuous maintenance of Tax data on back office systems

Develop cross -training, succession planning and contribution to Product deliverables

Leads initiatives to improve the performance of people, processes and technology to streamline the process

Work closely with stakeholders and other internal/external counterparts to ensure seamless delivery to the client

Develop and regularly delivers strategic communication messages that keep the organization informed about key business objectives and organizational issues

Ensure the resources both Human and technological are managed effectively to ensure that all operational risks are mitigated, there is coverage to ensure any business requirements, standard and non-standard are understood and met at all times
