Role Description:
- The AVP - Talent Acquisition will be responsible for managing the recruitment and employment programs for the organization.
- Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, techniques and tools to attract candidates (mostly blue collared) across the warehouses and logistics team of the organization
Requirements :
- A minimum of 10+ years of relevant post-MBA experience in Talent Acquisition, Candidate engagement, High volume hiring, etc.
- Preference is for candidates who have experience in a distributed network environment across India and from either of Supply chain/Logistics/Courier/Delivery business domain
- The role incumbent will be responsible to leads and executes overall recruitment strategy for the Supply chain & Call Centre verticals in the company, which is currently 2500+ employee strong.
- Partner with leadership to forecast and coordinate staffing needs.
- Proactively sources candidates to reduce the dependency on search firms.
- Oversee hiring process including criminal background checks and new hire orientations.
- Build expertise to support management regarding employment laws and practices.
- Utilize multiple mediums and sources to place specialized recruitment and other sourcing methodologies to facilitate high volume hiring of blue collared employees.
- Organize and support all departments with temporary and contract employment needs.
- Proven experience in leading successful recruiting and employment programs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills; excellent presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated & a strong team player.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
