Candidate Profile/Age/Skills–Essential

- 45-50 Years

- B Sc with MBA In Materials Management with over all 20 years of Experience in a Pharmaceutical and a CRO Industry

- Extensive Experience in Supply Chain Management and Commercial Operations.

- Must have hands on experience in vendor development and vendor Management

- Should be an expert in Inventory Management, Purchase, Imports, Import Clearances, Excise, Customs and Taxation.

- Should have strong negotiation skills

- Should be a good team player

Key Responsibilities

- Redesign and Implement and monitor effective procurement schedules, finalizing specifications for effective inventory control for both domestic and overseas sources.

- Planning organizing, controlling, ordering, reporting, delivery and payment processing for all the techno commercial activities.

- Ensure compliance of all CGMP with quality control standards in the production, manufacturing and warehouse

- Co-ordinate with custom house agents, external agencies for effective and quick clearances.

- Will be responsible for cost effective procurement of R & D Chemicals , Capital Equipments, Lab Equipments, Consumables, spares etc.,

- Will be responsible for cost effective procurement for all direct API, excepients. Engineering items, spares required for regulated and non-regulated markets.

- Evaluate the performance of the vendors for percentage of rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery and credit terms.
