Job Title – Assistant Vice President - SPO Payments Hub

Years of Experience – Min 8 to 10 years experience

Overall Job Purpose & Responsibilities –

- The AVP SPO Payments is a leadership role in the operations shared services organisation based in Chennai.

- The role holder will manage a team responsible for processing all the coupons and redemption activities on Structured Notes issued and will need to ensure all required payments are made on time, accurately, with the appropriate controls as well as being the point of escalation contact for any escalated issues from both internal and external clients.

- Equipped with strong payment/market settlement background as well as sound control knowledge on payments, candidate is expected to identify and drive initiatives that will mitigate risk and streamline processes to improve the efficiency of tasks performed by the team.

- This role will require candidates to manage and resolve queries independently from the sales support teams as majority of the payments impacts premier and core clients of the firm-Ability to communicate and articulate issue, root cause and resolution is definitely key in ensuring success in the role.

- In addition, candidate will manage and run the team in ensuring daily BAU and non BAU activities are managed.

Academic and professional qualifications

Commerce Graduate or CA/MBA/CPA or equivalent with about 8-10 years experience of Outsourcing / Offshoring in Financial Services Environment
