About Company : Company is a manufacturing company located in Gurgaon, India. The company has manufacturing plants in India, and South Africa, Thailand and the UAE.

Position : AVP SOURCING

Job Location : Gurgaon

Industry : Apparel/ Garments/ Textiles/ Fashion, Chemicals/ Fertilizer/ Pesticides

Function : Production/ Manufacturing/ Engineering, Senior Management-Logistics/Procurement/SCM, Logistics / Supply Chain Management

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities :

Sourcing of all A category items viz.: Caprolactam, Chips-N6, PET, Yarn - N6;N6,6;PET :

- Analyzing market situation to assess the best possible source of purchase

- Entering into long term (1 year) contracts for Caprolactam

- Development of systematic monthly strategic procurement plan taking into consideration the Business requirements and market conditions.

- Allocation of PET yarn to internal customers and assessing future requirement and entering into volume contract covering the deficit

- Preparing business case for management inventory, in case of anticipated volatility or unavailability of material

Ensuring nil disruption in plant operations due to non availability of A category material & maintain stocks as per norms :

- On time finalization of contracts

- Establishing appropriate systems for short term requirement projections

- Ensuring adherence to the projected plan through follow up at various levels

Breakthrough Management and Daily Management Targets :

- Review performance and ensuring effective counter measures

- Institutionalization of corrective actions for any deviations in performance parameters vis-a-vis budget - eg. Working capital, inventory management, capability enhancement of team etc.

Customer satisfaction on service parameters - Q12 :

- Ensure prompt resolution of all issues pertaining to Service Quality so that customers find it easier to do business with TTB

- Reviewing MLT teams on status of various customer complaints

- Guiding team for any countermeasure implementation

Improvement in LAID Score :

- Establishing a system for accurate monitoring of LAID as per laid down definition

- Reviewing the above on a periodic basis to identify gaps and implement countermeasures.

- Ensuring changes to production planning as per change in customer requirements.

- Reviewing units through multiple level follow ups to ensure production is done as per the allocation / guidelines.

- Reviewing team for adherence to the above.

Ensuring cross learning across units by deployment of best practices :

- Standards are synergized across Unit MLT's

- Best practices are documented and deployed across TTB

- Reviewing the team on effectiveness of horizontal deployment

Improvement in vendor management systems :

- Continuously making improvements in laid down systems

- Ensure compliance to LAID down procedures in coordination with BQMT

Advance License Management :

- Standards are synergized across Unit MLT's

- Standard guidelines are in place and issued for Advance license Management.

- Making necessary interventions wherein it involves external liasoning / management of Government authorities like customs, DGFT, DRI etc.

Managing Transport contract :

- Identification of transporter on road and ocean

- Signing contract with most competitive players on mutually agreed terms.

- Ensuring mitigation of risk through insurance cover.

- Sharing the details of the transport agreement with the unit MLT heads

- Ensuring resolution of the issues being faced by the units relating to transport agreement.

Ensuring Ariba sales :

- Identification sub standards from the units for sale through Ariba

- Sale of process waste

- Identification of vendors

- Ensuring auction happens with the identified vendors.

- Management of ocean freight.

Working Relationships :

- Who do you interact with Purpose of Interaction Frequency

- Team Members Reviews, providing inputs and guidelines, making necessary interventions Daily

- Suppliers Gathering Market information, Finalizing Various negotiations and Contracts, Relationship Management Daily

- Customers Compliant Resolution As and when required

- Govt Authorities Liaisoning As and when required

Position Specifications :

Educational Qualification : (Minimal Required) BE / B.Tech (Any)

Duration & nature of past experience required : (Minimal Required) Min. 12-15 years (out of which 8-10 years should have handled Sourcing and Planning function)
