AVP/Senior Manager - Finance - Healthcare Startup

Location - Mumbai

Experience - 6 - 9 years

Qualification - CA/MBA(Finance)

KEY TASKS:

- Managing the company's accounting, planning and budgeting

- Leading financial accounting and tax related activities

- Managing the audit process

- Running the planning and budgeting processes

- Monitoring and reporting variances to plans and budgets

- Managing working capital and liquidity

- Managing working capital - monitoring and optimising the receivables/payables cycle

- Ensuring that the company maintains a healthy liquidity position and overseeing cash flow projections

- Ensuring that suitable cash management strategies are in place

- Ensuring that liquidity sources remain accessible (eg banking lines) and managing relationships with bankers

- Managing the cost base

- Monitoring the company's expenses

- Establishing cost controls and policies

- Supporting fund raising

- Supporting activities related to equity raising

- Supporting investor relations

- Monitoring the company's expansion and keeping the relevant management members updated of any finance related issues

- Risk management

- Ensuring that suitable risk mitigation measures such as hedging, insurance etc are in place as required

- Compliance

- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, statutes etc

- Team management

- Ensuring that quality staff are hired, trained and retained
