AVP - Securities Settlements

Qualification & Experience:

Minimum 8+ year's experience out of which at least 5 years of experience in Securities Settlements

Prefer candidates who are currently an AVP.

Description:

Lead a team of domestic and PB Settlements which provides pre-matching, Settlements and post settlemeny support to the NIP Equity, Fixed Income and Prime Brokerage business across the globe. the scope of the work for the team includes pre-settlement and post-settlement activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Handle a team size of 10 people.

- Knowledge of Equity and Fixed income business.

- Handling internal and external trade queries and resolving them.

- Handling securities settlements process.

- Knowledge of European CCPs

- Interacting with the traders to identify and resolving them.

- MIS reporting

- Reviewing capacity and benchmarks,

- Ability to lead and manage IT enhancement projects.

- Ongoing focus on training and backup plans.

- Reviewing and enhancing controls to ensure risk free operations.

- Work closely witht senior management in building and implementing the strategies.

- Managing the careers of his/her team members.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong knowledge of equity and fixed income settlements

- Fostering a culture of relationship management with various cross functional regional teams

- Project management

- Analytical skills and eye for detail

- Understanding risk and control, legal and compliance requirements.

Desired

- Experience in European markets
