Position Specifications:  Division: Operations  Function: Securities Settlements  Job Title: Associate (AVP)  Reporting To: VP  Experience: 8+ years  Qualification: Post Graduate (any stream) or a MBA  Shifts: 1pm to 10 pm / 2 pm to 11 pm  Role & Responsibilities:  - Leading a team size of 10 people  - Knowledge of Equity and Fixed income business  - Handling internal & external trade queries and resolving them  - Handling securities settlement process  - Knowledge of European CCPs  - Interacting with CP and traders to identify and resolve trade discrepancies  - Handling Post-settlement Recs/Bank Recs  - MIS reporting.  - Reviewing capacity and benchmarks.  - Ongoing focus on training and backup plans  - Adherence to the firm’s Business Resiliency plan  - Ability to lead and manage IT enhancement projects.  - Reviewing and enhancing controls to ensure risk free operations.  - Working closely with senior management in building and implementing the strategies  - Managing careers of his/her team members  Knowledge & Skills:  Required:  - Strong knowledge of Equity and fixed income settlements  - Fostering a culture of relationship management with various cross functional regional teams  - Analytical skills and an eye for detail  - Project management  - Understanding risk and controls, legal and compliance requirements  - In-depth understanding of securities settlements and specially the European Markets and associated controls and risks.  Desired:  - Experience in European markets  - Experience in PB Setts  Qualification & Experience:  - Minimum 8+ year’s experience out of which at least 5 years of experience in Securities Settlements
