AVP - Risk Reporting - Financial Services Firm

For MNC Financial Services Company

Role Purpose :

- Ensure that risks in Markets Operations are being managed within risk appetite. This is a global, and cross-asset-class, function that works closely with Global and Line Operations management in ensuring that key controls are adequate in mitigating our material risks.

- The function is broadly responsible for evaluating risks, monitoring, reviewing, and testing both the design effectiveness and operation of key controls, driving consistency of the internal control framework across locations wherever there is a Markets Operations presence,

Some of the key deliverables are :

- Managing production excellence (timeliness, accuracy and relevance) for the Risk Analytics team.

- Drive data improvements, enhancements and efficiencies.

- Driving Global reporting and analytics strategy

- Lead the Risk Analytics Utility in Bangalore - providing clear steer and alignment to strategy

- Interacting with global stakeholders on matters relating to risk data and reporting.

- Risk Governance Delivery Management:

- Ensuring reporting and analytics packs and information are produced in a timely manner to key Governance forums

Requirements :

- A combination of skills in python, QlikView, QlikSense, Dataverse or Lavastorm will be advantageous.

- Experience in operations, project management and methods

- Good level of understanding of data management processes and production.

- Experienced in working with virtual/global teams and functional management

- Strong MS Office skills, especially using PowerPoint and Excel

- Experience of working in an Operations environment would be useful to this role, although not mandatory

- Excellent communication skills.
