AVP - Risk Management

Position Overview:

- As a Risk Manager , you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the financial and operational stability of the company.

- Your primary responsibility will be to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across various aspects of company's operations, products, and services.

- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management.

Skills:

- Cohort Analysis, FPD and Straight Roller identification, Fraud Identification and Strategy, Customer Segmentation, Risk Based Pricing, Line Assignment

- CHAID Analysis, Logistic/Linear Regressions and Forecasting, Basic Data Analysis using Tables and Crosstabs, Swap-In/Swap-out analysis

- Understanding of ML models is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Risk Mitigation:

- Manage and Monitor delinquency metrics within specified thresholds and maintain risk at the cohort level across MOBs

- Identify any alarming trend and propose strategies to treat the issues timely

- Stay on top of Operations SOP and its alignment with Risk strategies

- Propose strategies to enhance growth without adding additional credit risk - Test and control portfolio

- Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to company's unique business model and industry landscape.

- Partner with product, technology, and compliance teams to integrate risk controls into business processes and product development.

Risk Monitoring and Reporting:

- Establish and maintain a robust risk monitoring system to track and assess risks in real-time.

- Provide regular and ad-hoc risk reports to senior management, detailing risk exposure, mitigation efforts, and emerging trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.

- Proven track record (2+ years) in risk management, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.

- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to evaluate complex scenarios and make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

- Proficiency in risk management methodologies, tools, and software.

- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the fintech sector.

- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage projects effectively.

- Detail-oriented and able to manage confidential information with discretion.

- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

- 5 days working from Office-Monday to Friday
