Purpose of the Job :
- Overseeing and enhancing the risk management framework within the organization.
- Developing and implementing effective risk governance strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across various business functions.
Perspective Key Performance Indicators :
- Risk Governance Strategy - Develop and execute a comprehensive risk governance strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Implement best practices to enhance risk awareness and promote a risk-aware culture.
Policy Development :
- Formulate and update risk management policies to address emerging risks and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure consistent application of risk policies across the organization.
Risk Identification and Assessment:
- Collaborate with business units to identify and assess risks associated with their operations.
- Implement risk assessment tools and methodologies to quantify and prioritize risks.
- Regulatory Compliance, Monitoring and Reporting - Establish robust monitoring mechanisms to track risk metrics and key risk indicators.
- Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management and relevant committees
- Stay informed about regulatory changes impacting the industry and ensure compliance.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements and implementation thereof across all impacted functions/ areas.
Cross-functional Collaboration :
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate risk management into business processes.
- Guide business units on risk mitigation strategies
Incident Response and Crisis Management :
- Develop and maintain a crisis management plan to address potential risks and incidents.
- Lead the response to critical incidents and coordinate with relevant stakeholders
