AVP - Risk & Control - Investment Bank

Position Overview:

This position is within the FRI Data & Platform Analysis Team which is responsible for ensuring fit for purpose data (accuracy and completeness) leveraged for preparation and submission for regulatory reports to regulators.

This will be an AVP role where the incumbent will be working as an Individual contributor with central control team and multiple functional leads within the organization. The role will involve working on Control Management Agenda for the team.

The responsibilities of the incumbent will include (but not limited to) the following:

- In partnership with functional teams, evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the business' risk and control environment of the functions to identify any significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks

- Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols

- Perform Process Risk Reviews and Review of Internal Controls

- Track & Publish Risk Metrics & Scorecards

- Establish strong partnership with Global Control Management team and participate in programs like CORE, SOX, CCAR, User Tools, Automation Solutions control framework as applicable.

This is a Senior role - Frequent meetings with leadership

IC role but person should have Excellent comms with leadership qualities
