About Our Client:

Our client is one of the largest Indian Banks with demonstrated strengths in both Commercial and Retail Banking. They are in the process of growing their Retail Risk Analytics function and are looking to hire specialists in Retail Risk Modeling with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Job Description:

Reporting into the Head of Risk Analytics, you shall be responsible for leading a newly created team of analytics professionals to develop strategy for the retail banking portfolio.

In addition to this, you will be responsible to:

- Driving credit risk policies in any of the following areas - authorizations, underwriting, existing customer management

- Define, analyze, implement, and monitor credit risk strategies

- Develop statistical models for the retail banking portfolio of the bank

- Validate and monitor existing models for the bank

- Apply innovative analytical techniques to customer and transaction data to build risk mitigation strategies

- Work very closely with senior stakeholders across various locations and give strategies to them

The Successful Applicant

- You should be a Masters degree from a Tier 1 institution in India/ Globally

- 7+ years of solid experience of working in areas like collections analytics, risk strategy (credit/fraud/marketing),

- Have strong understanding of building risk strategy, risk modeling along with good exposure to regulatory aspects like Basel II & III, or Application Scorecards and Behavior Scorecards

- Possess good statistical skills with proficiency in SAS, Teradata, etc
