The details are as follows:  Client: A leading global investment bank  Location: Mumbai  Job Title: AVP - Risk Analyst  Job Role:  Client is looking for extremely bright candidates with a science-based academic background, ideally to include pure or applied mathematics, physics or engineering, with exposure to financial analysis.   - The role can be broadly categorized as ‘Risk Analyst’ and focuses evaluating and assessing risk, and developing pricing and state of the art risk computation infrastructure for the for the Second-order Risk for Fixed Income and FX world.   - Examine counterparty-level portfolio credit risk using existing front-office trading risk management systems  - Analyzing counterparty credit profiles in detail on selected clients through secondary research from varied sources  - Cross Margining Client portfolio with diversified products  - Analyze exotic derivatives risk as well as run detailed scenario analysis on portfolios   - Initiate and execute process optimization and automation projects  - Keeping abreast of all the news and key market indicators related to client base in order to flag major developments early   Required Skills:  - 6-10 years experience in Quantitative Analysis  - Background in Risk and Margining is desirable.   - Strong educational background in Engineering/ Science. Preferably IIT/IIM/CA candidates  - Previous experience with complex Quantitative and data mining projects is desirable   - Strong Excel skills & SQL will be required.
