We have an urgent opening for the position of AVP - Regulatory Reporting with a leading banking shared services company.

Position: AVP

Role: Regulatory Reporting.

Location: Gurgaon.

Job Profile:

- Understand global Reg framework i.e. Process , Regulatory requirements for data purposes & Systems

- Understand in-depth existing global Reg Reporting processes

- Understand and support in documentation of global Regulatory data requirements for Reporting

- Ensure ongoing Reporting and analysis support for seamless service delivery of global Regulatory Reporting reports to various onshore partners to agreed service levels

- Provide assistance to the onshore team in preparation of templates for monthly and quarterly submissions to the FSA, and other internal customers specific to capital schedules.

- Timely submission of monthly and quarterly returns by sites to Regulatory Reporting

- Timely submission of monthly and quarterly returns to the FSA

- Timely preparation of other analysis requested by internal customers

Leadership & Teamwork

- Liaise with onshore counterparts on report requirement and developing reports within the timelines agreed

- Ensure support is provided to as per requirement from onshore counterparts

- Ensure integrity and management of data submission

Good teamwork skills are vital as an important aspect of the role concerns liaising with various teams in the Regulatory Reporting department.

Operational Effectiveness & Control

- The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy under pressure is important as during the reporting periods the team is required to meet tight deadlines.

- Ability to prioritize and plan work in an efficient manner.

- Ensure seamless delivery on all the process level activities within timelines and maintain high quality standards. Focus on controls and continuous process improvements.

Understand Business Partner expectations / requirements ensure alignment to GFO objectives and deliver. Manage / Support business partner relationship effectively.

Required Skills:

- Strong Knowledge of

- Regulatory Environment

- FSA and its schedules

- IT application

- Open personality and effective communication skills, ability and flexibility to work in an international team

- Ability to lead, manage and successfully deliver projects within the agreed time scale, in liaison with all relevant stakeholders: model owners, credit, business, IT, senior management and regulators

- Strong communication skills, including experience of explaining complex technical matters simply and succinctly

- Energy, enthusiasm and drive

- Team management experience, of at least 10-15 team members.

- Experience that demonstrates ability to learn and apply complex/technical rules/frameworks, for example IFRS, Basel 2, complex tax or other legislation, product/model valuation etc

Qualification:

- Qualified CA/CWA/MBA with Minimum Experience of 12-15 years.

- Previous employment with a Financial Institution

- Experience working in/with an organisation that handles complex products (i.e. complexity of accounting, valuation, reporting, risk assessment etc)

- Experience of working with colleagues cross-border in a multinational organization

- Working/detailed knowledge of Basel 2 framework/rules
