AVP - Reference Data Operations - Investment Bank

Title : AVP (Shifts starting at 7 PM onwards)

This is a role helping to lead the Reference Data Account team that manages the Americas accounts. Reference Data is responsible for both static and pricing securities reference data and provide data to Private Banking and Investment Banking stakeholders. Teams are capturing, maintaining and netting financial instruments on country-specific platforms of the regions of Switzerland, APAC, EMEA and Americas.

This role would be responsible for :

- Daily management and oversight of the production team (vendors), based in Pune who process client requests in accordance with procedures and controls including sign-off on daily control checklists

- Monitor regional metrics and reporting ensuring SLA's are met and exception processing is completed as needed

- Proactively manage client queries and issues. Ensure effective follow up, investigation, resolution and escalation

- Cultivate internal client relationships to provide a high level of customer service

- Look to improve processes and efficiency as well as global consistency within Reference Data

- Participate in business requirements gathering and UAT testing or other relevant testing for firm initiatives and system releases

- Represent Reference Data at internal and potentially external working groups

You Offer :

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field

- Managerial skills - people and process management

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to work well within teams as well as an individual contributor

- Financial services background helpful

- Computer literate in basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Quick learner capable of working in a fast paced environment

- Proficient problem solving skills

- Proficient organization skills

- Attention to detail is critical
