AVP - Reconciliations Lead

Education – CA / MBA with 8 -10 years of relevant experience

- Understand the Accounting plan for consumer operations

- Understand the nature of transactions and type of accounts in consumer operations

- Assessing the impact of process changes on Proofing

- Identify emerging trends across the unit and set up mitigating controls

- Review proofs submitted for each account on Financial Management teams as well as e-recon

- Ensure that the internal policy guidelines on accounts are followed

- Set-up new accounts on product launches after getting requisite approvals

- Work with Internal Control Unit / Operations team in resolving ageing items

- Work with finance team for opening GL a/c’s post getting necessary approvals

- Tracking ageing on day to day basis and ensuring resolution

- Ensure Review of manual transactions posted to ensure genuineness and accuracy

- Conduct surprise proofing reviews / regular Quality audits and assessment of all regulatory reporting

- Tracking deferred entries and taking them to closure

- Representing operations in all Account Review Committee discussions

- Set up and manage a strong day 2 process reviews

- Ensure accuracy on the funds flowing into and out of sundry accounts

- Due diligence, base paper retrieval, transaction review of accounts being proved

- Reviewing manual transactions posted to ensure genuineness.
