AVP - Quants Research - Hedge Fund - KPO

The firm has delivery centers in Bangalore (India), Colombo (Sri Lanka) and San Jose (Costa Rica), with sales offices in New York (USA), London (UK) and Singapore.offers investment research services across multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income and credit, and quantitative research, while also providing financial institutions services such as sales and marketing support, regulatory compliance support, and corporate finance services.

- The employee will be a key member of the Quants Research team of a leading Hedge Fund client of the company

Key job responsibilities include:

- Tracking and doing extensive research of quarterly earnings releases of various companies across the globe, in order to validate and analyse financial results for the client.

- Working as a liaison between data vendors and client and helping in the collaboration of client data sources that will be migrated to data vendors.

- Constantly reflecting on the improvement of current processes and quality control management and evolving a sound process management.

- Handling client requests related to validation of historical data and setting up new data sources.

- Working with the team by guiding junior analysts, as required, in data mining tasks, client communication and extensive quality control.

Requirements:

- Good accounting knowledge

- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, programming knowledge (VBA macros) would be a plus

- Good analytical and problem solving skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
