AVP - Quant - Investment Bank

We have an opportunity for Quant role with one of the well known investment bank .

Location: Bangalore

Role: AVP - Quant

Yrs: 3-12years

What you will need to succeed in the role:

A degree based on Software Engineering

- Building a first class python ecosystem of libraries, infrastructure, SDLC automation, documentation and tools to speed application delivery

- Partnering with the equity derivatives front office, quants, structuring and IT teams to migrate existing and develop new pricing, marking, and trading tools for the stratpy python environment

- SDLC automation and self-service to give ability for an application owner to on-board and release their app with minimal overheads. Including facilities for unit, integration and regression testing

- Provision of Jupyter notebook services for a controlled environment to manage and run notebooks

- Packaging of re-usable Equities Python libraries as components to be consumed in multiple applications

- At least 5-6 years of development experience using Primary C++/C++11 and Secondary skill as Python

- Expertise in software product development

- Strong Experience in network programming, multithreading/multiprocessing low latency development

- Solid experience of C++ concepts like templates and C++ 11 standard Library

- Proficient in code versioning tools such as GIT, SVN etc.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team

- Focused on delivering high-quality results on time.

Good to have :

- Knowledge of Jenkins or any similar CI/CD tool.

- Knowledge of web technologies, including web services/REST, HTML5, Node.js and Angular.js etc.

- Experience in designing & implementing a web-based UI framework.

- Python development experience

- Spreadsheet development experience (Excel and VBA)
