Summary of Role/Profile:

What is the focus of the function? To generate client and business impact with delivery teams by using continuous improvement techniques (like lean six sigma, DFSS, Innovation) and industry standards (like CMMI, ISO, Agile, ITIL)

How does the role add value? This role acts as the SME on continuous improvement for the business. It acts as an important layer that connects with senior leadership at client and within organization to identify, plan, execute and deliver high priority improvement roadmaps. Mentors and leads a set of industry experts on lean six sigma, CMMI, ISO etc. to perform continuous improvement.

Who are the key relationships for this role? Leadership team (CxO - 1,2 levels of client and VP/AVP/DU heads in CMITS), Delivery Team (PMO, Project Managers, architects Etc.) and Quality consultants (Black belts/CMMI experts/ISO experts)

What are the minimum prior qualifications to be an applicant for this role? MBB with hands on experience in performing/mentoring at least 7-8 high value MBB/black belt projects in past two years. Should have led/been active participant for CMMI Level 5/ISO 20k in last years

What are the key initiatives and challenges facing this role in the next six months to three years?

Drive client high priority business impact roadmaps (identify priorities, ideation, setting up black belt/MBB projects, apply lean six sigma to implement these projects to success)

Operational efficiency generation for CMITS

Lead and mentor team, Drive improvements for enhancing measurement framework, project management practices

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Lead, own and drive high client and internal business impact projects

- Identify, design, execute, and deliver on operational and transformation agenda for clients and copmpany's leadership

- Demonstrate technical expertise in deploying six sigma practices

- Lead and manage industry benchmarks like ISO, CMMI, Agile, ITIL

- Perform trainings, coaching and mentoring

- Participate in internal and external audits

- Drive NPS analysis and help in identifying improvement actions to improve NPS score

- Manage and mentor quality consultants

- Improve productivity and customer satisfaction

- Act as an Subject Matter Expert on lean six sigma and process improvement

- Make presentations and regular connect with senior leadership of client and within organization

- ATM/ FAR/Participated in CMMI L5 v1.3 Dev/Services in at least one cycle

- MBB Trained/certified with implementation experience. Atleast 5-6 high impact BB or MBB Projects implemented with demonstrated Business Impact and delivered Productivity gains/cost savings in the last two years

- Mentoring experience of at least 5-6 BB Projects in last 2 years.

- Knowledge of ISO 27001/ 9001, ISO 20k /ITIL standards and implementation.

- Certified Internal Auditor/Practicing for ISO 9001, ISO 20k, ISO 27k

- Conducted trainings on LSS/Project Management/Standards

- Exposure to Minitab/Sigma XL/Crystal Ball/Excel tool pack or similar tools for analytics

- Leadership and team management

- Strong Client facing/consulting experience

- Strong communication skills and presentation skills

- Confident and passionate on quality aspects

- Analytical bent of mind with logical approach to solutions

- Self-Starter with ability to function lead with less mentoring
