Develop and execute strategies to create and uphold a positive public image for the organization
- Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
- Liaison with key stakeholders in other functions to achieve the operational and communication goals assigned
- Excellent understanding of news flow and organizational structure in Media houses
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests
- Work closely with the PR Agency and internal business units to develop messaging about the brand
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
- Collaborate within Marketing team to plan & execute offline and online events as needed
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships an on-going basis
- Responsible for prudently managing the budgets allocated
- Work closely with internal teams to leverage external events for positive publicity such as product launches, industry awards etc.
- Work closely with the agency to compile share of voice for the brand, visibility, message delivery, tonality, reach and monitor competition updates
- Develop content for press releases, product launch releases, CEO Fact sheets, Media FAQs, Media Briefing Booklets, Speech Pointers
