Opportunity is for a Project Manager with strong foundation in Systems analysis and experience in financial services to join our Global Finance Services arm. This is a great opportunity for someone to apply their Project Management skills with BAU operations support. This role requires the applicant to be able to prioritize multiple system issues and liaise with technology and Finance teams to manage incidents, conduct root cause analysis and suggest suitable remediation. Background of Knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes is essential.

You will be responsible for:
Managing a team responsible for Financial Management Group's (FMG) Systems
Working closely with Corporate Operations Group (technology) and other businesses to resolve system issues and implement enhancements / improvements
Support User Acceptance Testing of systems in scope, report issues / defects and liaise with Finance user to obtain sign-off
Prioritise systems issues and Projects pipeline so that resources are directed in accordance to Finance user needs
Help COG in clarifying Project requirements / scope and agree on delivery timelines
Delivery of BAU of key Trading systems and maintain the integrity of the System's Reference / Mapping table data (MTS/GCS/Calypso/Quantum/ PEWMA/CORE etc) - includes supporting Product Control team in generating and analysing system performance metrics
Manage change requests and Projects Pipeline.
Deliver user access reviews, maintain system documentation and support ad-hoc system report generation requests
Conduct root cause analysis of commonly occurring problems and work closely with Technology for long term resolution
Support Audit and Compliance by generating suitable reports
Lead systems administration of BCS, Blueprint, Replicon and Compliance Obligation
Conduct regular user trainings and respond to yser queries with respect to system usage.
Manage new demand and support transitions following established methodologies and control frameworks.
Help Identify opportunities to improve processes in a fast changing systems landscape
To be successful in this role you will have:
Degree qualification in either Accounting / Finance or Information Technology (IT)
Minimum 11-13 years of post qualification experience.
Strong knowledge of Project Management skills in an IT / Finance set-up.
Basic SQL knowledge preferred
Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is essential; background in accounting / product control or systems accounting would be ideal
Financial instruments / product knowledge is preferable
Communication skills are required as the role will involve interaction with clients & colleagues at various levels; ability to engage senior stakeholders
The ability and self-confidence to work independently and increase the scope of the service line
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Very strong MS Office skills; particularly Excel
Some exposure to process improvement methodologies preferred
Ability to investigate business issues and identify technical root causes
Experience in managing operational reference data of systems would be advantageous
