Incumbent will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy in line with the buyers expectations from the online marketplace. S/He will architect the Product development initiatives and marketing campaigns aligned to the business objectives.
This position will lead the 'Big Buyer Program', aimed towards enhancing the experience of the large business houses, who use online portal for their sourcing requirements. Key tasks will include:
- Contribute to the delivery of the overall Product plan in alignment with the Business objectives.
- Work on Go to Market Plan, New Product Development, Product Enhancement, Product Launch and Portfolio Management to ensure delivery of Market Share, Gross Margin, Consumer Engagement.
- Increasing number of big buyer companies
- Increasing number of units of these companies on our platform
- Get more users from these units/companies to source through online portal
- Ensure regular usage & retention of these users
Skill sets
- Degree in Engineering with MBA from Top B School
- Should have a good understanding of Product Development / Management, Product Pricing, Campaign Management & Internal / External Communication.
- Should have good understanding of Sales Processes & Consumer Behaviour.
- Must be process oriented, IT savvy & proficient in the use of Microsoft Office/ Open Office Tools.
- Must have secured at least 75% marks in their 10th and 12th standard.
Experience
- 3 - 7 years of post-qualification industry experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in heading Product / Category / Business Unit with overall Revenue generation responsibility preferably in Online Media / Telecom / FMCG / BFSI Industry.
