AVP - Product Development - General Insurance

Looking for a Product Development candidate from the Insurance Background (Preferably General Insurance), for a reputed General Insurance company in Mumbai.

Job Description :

a. Responsible for leading & executing product development activities for the organization across all lines of business (Personal lines, Accident & Health & Commercial lines)

b. Lead the team of product development specialists/managers

c. Ideate & develop new/innovative products as needed to achieve the company objectives

d. Conduct product research, with thorough benchmarking with the products available in the market covering all aspects such as coverages, pricing, experience & performance

e. Liaison with all stakeholders (Underwriters, Sales, Actuarial, Legal & Compliance and the officials at IRDA) to gather /compile, prepare, file & follow-up for product development & approvals

f. Act as coordinator for Product Management Committee meetings, organize meetings & monitor / track the actions items as guided by the PMC
