Provide Pre-Sales Support on the SAP Products and Clients SAP Offerings – Especially experienced in the areas of SAP Mobility [ Afaria, SUP, and Syclo] OR SAP HANA/Analytics
- Engage the prospects in discussions to discover their needs and pain points along with field sales force
- Drive conversations with Prospects / customers that present the strategic relationship between SAP offerings and the customer’s overall business goals and objectives
- Identify the business requirements of the prospects and provide Solution Support to the Sales Cycle in conjunction with the Practice team
- End-to-end ownership of customer response from Design, set-up, review, deliver solution and final solution demonstration
- Work with Bid Management team to Support Delivery Heads with responses to RFPs from Existing Business or New Business
- Ensure that there is smooth Communication between the Delivery, Pre-Sales & Sales teams
- Lead Practice competency initiatives for Mobility, HANA etc.
- Uses his/her network to identify alternative solutions to customer/partner problems, while continually exceeding expectations to bring issues to resolution.
- Be accountable for end-to-end pre-sales process i.e. from Scoping to RFP defense.
- Will be responsible for escalating and co-ordinating with SAP counterparts as needed on projects or solutioning
- Documentation and upkeep of all pre-sales related information in a central location
- Coordinate with Verticals, CoEs, etc for solution design. Be able to contribute in the solution design.
- Coordinates with Sales, Pre-sales, Consulting services etc. teams.
Expected Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
- Proven SAP experience with 10+yrs in 2 or more modules / technical out of which atleast 4+years of Pre-sales. Industry functional background would be added advantage.
- Proven track record in providing pre-sales support
- Operational Experience with expertise in SAP Implementation, Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture.
- Strong understanding of business processes across various domains especially Auto, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Pulbic Sector, Media etc.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP products & offering across Industry verticals, cross functional knowledge
- Good understanding of functional usage of tools related to Application Support, Service management, end-to-end Implementations, Rollouts etc.
- Good Team Player Skills
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness to work in extended timings in order to coordinate with offshore teams
- Strong Communication & Facilitation skills
- Strong coordination and cross team collaboration skills
- Ability to rally and drive teams
