AVP-Portfolio Accounting/Fund Accounting

We have a job opening with a MNC for a reputed client for Assistant Vice President - PA

General requirements :

- Open to night shift working

- For Assistant Vice Presidents - Only 15% will be people management and 85% would be product orientation and directly attending to client calls

- Should be confident to take on the questions of experts from various sites/clients in the requisite product stream and answer them effectively

- Should be able to create the end to end process for the functions running globally for any client

- Would be required to attend product meetings onsite and should be able to contribute significantly processes in detail

- Have detailed knowledge of various technologies being used in the sphere candidate bears the expertise

Product Streams Expertise :

Portfolio Accounting :

- Should have extensively worked on migrating one or more client on standard platform such as Multi fond etc.

- Should have detailed knowledge of working on control function over PA i.e. Workflow exception management (WEM), pControl and other tools.

- Should be able to understand and create control rules on WEM/pControl to mitigate the risks emanating out of incorrect GAV/NAV.

- Should be able to design, develop & implement End to End test scenarios for the same.

- Should be able to perform testing in UAT environment for reconciliation, understand the reasons for the defects, create supporting for the defects and also recommend the resolution steps.

- The candidate should be able to understand the intricacies of connecting recon impact on Portfolio Accounting and other related functions.

- Extensive working on system is essential as the role is basically of expert and individual contributor.

The selected candidate may be required to directly talk to the end clients, understand their process/systems and integrate those processes in operations environment.
