- Experience of planning and stress testing exercises and continuous process improvement programs. - Support the Head of Planning with the group-wide consolidation and management of the annual planning process and regulatory stress tests - Play a key role driving the transformation agenda for Planning & Stress Testing by building up the capabilities across the Chennai team, as well as strong partnerships with UK and US based stakeholders - Manage a seamless transition of roles and responsibilities from onshore to offshore, and then develop the offshore team - Define and communicate requirements regarding group-wide planning and stress test submissions, including guidelines, timelines and control procedures - Overall management of planning and stress testing system set up, requirements and maintenance, liaising closely with stakeholders and IT to ensure systems meet all requirements - Responsible for ensuring robust, accurate and complete submission of regulatory templates (i.e. PRA stress test and EBA stress test), and Group Planning reports (for Medium and Short Term Plans), for senior management review - Support the preparation of Group ExCo and B Plc Board materials for the medium term plan and internal stress tests - Provide a central review and analysis capability by analyzing business submissions for plausibility and commercial logic - Partner closely with key stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of submission requirements and progress with plan and stress test submissions - Be an effective team player with excellent communication skills and have a reputation for integrity, which can evoke rapid trust and confidence in clients, colleagues and their team. - Logical and thoughtful approach to work, and the ability to multi-task/work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Pays careful attention to detail, whilst also considering the big picture and wider implications. - Expectation to provide thought leadership to the ongoing development and enhancement of planning and stress testing capabilities
