PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To meet persistency collection targets assigned through managing branch operations and sales. Deliver on key large scale projects of the functions on individual effort

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Main duties, tasks and responsibilities of the role :

- Study & understand products, customer behavior and historic trends and arrive at the persistency numbers for the year based on historic trends.

- Ensure drill down monthly, renewal, revival etc so that the targets set for relevant teams to influence with defined ownerships

- Ensure regular updates /scoreboards to the teams on achievement

- Key Alerts on the regional / zonal trends and highlights - constant interaction with branches /field /customers and take feedback and suggestions from the field for enablers

- Execute/ Implement strategic initiatives to boost persistency levels

- Monitor all initiatives taken and campaign launches with Measures

- Study and present the Targets Vs actual with reasons for Achievement /Short fall with action planning to ensure targets

- Manage the Overall Persistency Team & Expectations thereof

- Lead Strategies and optimize existing processes at the Call Center

- Understand and effectively manage entire Call Center - Persistency Unit.

- Provide regular update and ensure proper planning to ensure effective handling of in process/policies /products of HDFC SL

- Conduct regular internal checks to critically evaluate the performance

- Ensure Compliance to all legal and regulatory norms

- Manage the overall productivity of call center and maintain key data and reports at regular basis.

- Handle all escalated queries and communication for persistency with success ratios maintained. Identify process gaps and plug process gaps from a long term perspective

KNOWLEDGE:

- Updated with insurance products, regulations. Efficient in handling MS Office, (Excel, Powerpoint and Word) Life Asia, Wonders, Cognos, forecasting and trend analysis

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :

- Total 8 yrs experience with minimum 3 yrs experience in leading team

- Experience in Life Insurance or banking collections for atleast 5years & 3 years managerial experience

Additional Criteria : Handled branch operations, hub operations or done sales for atleast 3 years
