AVP - Operations - Precision Manufacturing

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Leader with a background in high precision manufacturing, particularly in the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in managing operations with profit and loss responsibility. Additionally, familiarity with consumer electronic products, stability in employment history, and proficiency in spoken Kannada are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery of products.

- Implement and improve processes to optimize manufacturing operations.

- Take charge of the entire production cycle, from raw materials to final product assembly.

Profit and Loss Management:

- Assume responsibility for the profit and loss of the manufacturing unit.

- Develop and execute strategies to enhance profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.

Precision Manufacturing Expertise:

- Utilize extensive experience in high precision manufacturing, particularly in aerospace components.

- Handle micro tools with precision, ranging from 0.5mm to 1mm, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.

Consumer Electronics Products:

- Bring relevant experience from working with companies involved in consumer electronic products.

- Apply knowledge and skills to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.

Stability and Tenure:

- Showcase a stable and consistent employment history with a tenure ranging from 18 to 25 years.

- Demonstrate the ability to contribute to long-term success and growth.

Location Preference:

- Preference for candidates with a valid reason for Belgaum location, showcasing a commitment to the local community and ecosystem.

Spoken Kannada:

Strong preference for candidates proficient in spoken Kannada, as effective communication with local stakeholders is crucial.

Age Limit:

Maximum age limit for this position is 52 years.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree is a plus.

- 18-25 years of experience in operations, with a focus on high precision manufacturing.

- Proven experience in managing profit and loss for a manufacturing unit.

- Familiarity with consumer electronics and the ability to adapt precision manufacturing techniques to diverse product lines.

- Proficiency in handling micro tools (0.5mm to 1mm) is essential.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.

- Fluency in spoken Kannada is highly preferred.
