PRODUCTION: - Monitor the process &amp; production performance of all sections on day-to-day basis and define corrective actions together with maintenance &amp; production. - Contribute to fuel cost optimization by ensuring process conditions, which allows a maximum utilization of alternate fuels and raw materials - Organize preparation, review and approve production plans 2. MAINTENANCE: - Review with maintenance team for improving the plant reliability and reducing the maintenance cost. 3. QUALITY: - Supervise the work of the Laboratory manager and making sure that the quality schemes &amp; the standards are respected for the various products. 4. QUARRY: RAW MIX PREPARATION - Ensure regular communication between the quarry, process and quality for adjusting the raw mix to the problems of burning and maintenance. 5. MANAGEMENT: Organize preparation of: - Annual and Monthly budget - PIP and related documents - Lead the following meetings for regular co-ordination of various functions and decide on critical issue: - Production meeting to co ordinate routine activities for smooth functioning of the plant - Monthly cost meeting to review variance for their corrective actions. - Management review meeting QMS,EMS &amp; OHSAS. - Plant safety committee meeting - Co ordinate actions with technical center - Discuss and follow up with purchase and stores. - Check and respond to approval request (PR- s) 6. PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT: - Propose training schemes for sub ordinates/ team in order to optimize their skills. - Build and facilitate training courses inside &amp; outside the plants. - Encourage people for using RCA tool for analyzing, finding root causes and implementing corrective actions. 7. HEALTH &amp; SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES: - In liaison with site H&amp;S coordinator, organize regular audits of the plant and participate in audits. - Lead by examples - Participate in major accident investigations and publish the results. - Motivate people for behavioral change towards the safety. - Review and issue necessary permits (working at height, confined space - ) Key Result Areas: (Indicate the performance parameters / results that the position shall be measured on. Improve plant reliability and performance by optimizing the process &amp; adapting maintenance practices. 3. Maintain discipline, IR and improve motivation level in plant. 5. Contribute to reduction in production cost- cement and clinker by close monitoring the functions of production and maintenance department and better co ordination among them. 6. Provide the plant with a medium and long-term analysis of the prospects for change and the means for adapting or developing by making the necessary Production/ Maintenance/ Quality/ environment &amp; safety related investments. 7. Responsible for internal control effectiveness monitoring for the process in the domain of job responsibility. 8. Co ordinate and develop people reporting to him.
