About our Client - Our clients is one of the largest global Banks with demonstrated strengths across Corporate Banking, Consumer Banking and Investment Banking. They are looking for a AVP- next Gen Analytics and will be reporting in to the VP/Director. The AVP will be responsible for managing the entire data base for the bank across APAC region in terms big data and drive implementation of data standardization within Relational Databases mainly SAS/TERADATA.

Job Description :

- As an AVP, you and your team will be responsible for managing the entire data base for Asia Consumer Business across 12 countries.

- The role will drive the implementation of data standardization within Relational Databases mainly SAS/TERADATA and also big data technologies like Next Gen technology solutions.

- The key requirement for the role is the ability to understand the business, develop data-driven solutions to address business problems and independently manage end-to-end project communication.

Key Deliverables :

- Engage across 12 APAC markets to minimize duplicate data as well as standardize to the core Teradata data model

- Drive engagement across the countries to understand differences and root cause for differences ie Product Processor, Front line variations etc.

- Ensure a monthly requirements process is developed as well as a central reporting and update process.

- Work with our product processor owners and external partners (credit bureaus, insurance and investment partners, co brand partners) to leverage their data for better data storage and standardization

- SAS automation and optimization.

The Successful Candidate - As a successful applicant :

- Master degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications / Engineering

- Established competency in one or more of the following Minimum of 8+ years' hands-on experience in driving the data capabilities of large organizations.

- Exposure to one of these Teradata/SAS /BO/Oracle DB would be essential.

- Experience to Tableau installations preferred

- Must have PM experience and be able to track progress and report back to business to keep them involved - Demonstrated experience of having worked on data quality solutions and build data enrichment programs.
