AVP - Mutual Fund Research - Life Insurance

Designation- AVP- Mutual Fund

Responsibilities:

- To undertake detailed and rigorous research on equity & fixed income market and prepare quality research reports for ULIP products.

- To keep abreast with the market economics and asset class idiosyncrasies to capture and analyze dynamic information that may have a potential impact on the underlying investments in the ULIP under coverage.

- Quantitative and qualitative research analysis of ULIP schemes on various parameters

- Create sector valuation models like Nifty Infra PE, Nifty Pharma etc. to understand the valuation for each sector

- Portfolio Review of clients to provide appropriate recommendations as per their requirements and suggesting clients on the ULIP Schemes on Equity and Debt side.

- Preparing weekly, monthly and yearly newsletters and ULIP reports.

- Writing articles on frequent basis on current happenings in the industry for the comapny.

- Providing concept mailers, articles to be published on various social media.

- Presentations for clients as well as branches over webinar and concall for new product awareness.

- Updating and uploading ULIP data on company website

Qualification:

- Graduate/Post Graduate in Finance, Engineering or Science

- CFA, FRM - Level 1 (preferred)

Prior Work Experience:

- Financial products (trading & banking book products) and credit risk exposure knowledge including Basel 2 norms.

- Tools knowledge related to Advance Excel (VBA), Business Objects, spotfire and SQL.

Data analysis skills with large complex structures and volumes including reconciliations with commentary analysis.

Ability to undertake medium level data projects and get involved in requirements definition, test and sign off process; generate regular metrics and KPIs with trend analysis
