AVP - Mobile Engineering

We are currently looking for highly skilled and established Technology Leader in space of Mobile Application technologies.

For this role you must have strong, practical, hands-on experience as specified below:

- Deep understanding of digital technologies / platforms / journeys and Banking domain.

- You should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator and an expert in technological and roadmap development to set a vision for the platform evolution.

- Ability to work with customers, internal product and customer experience (CX) teams to develop an understanding of our customers' needs and translate those needs into actionable plan.

- To be able to collaborate with teams such as Sales, Product Marketing, Program Management, Engineering and Operations to ensure success throughout the life of the products.

- You should have big picture of architecture and should be able to set good development practices for delivery.

- Should be very well versed with the entire competition landscape like what other big or small players are doing, latest technology trends etc.

You and will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company. Understanding of the CRM space preferred.

Role and Responsibilities:-

Client is looking for a AVP Mobile Engineering manage their mobile platforms. This individual must have extensive experience in both people management and mobile development. They will directly oversee all areas of mobile engineering, help coordinate cross-functional teams located across several locations around the world and ensure the quality of client's mobile applications. This individual will mentor, develop, coordinate, and oversee iOS and Android engineers in everyday operations. In this position, you will need to be able to provide hands-on assistance when needed as well as being able to come to the table to project plan and manage.

Requirements:

- 12+ years of Engineering

- Engineering or similar degree

- Rich hands on experience into mobile development

- Experience into managing team of mobile developers

- Experience with both Android and iOS platforms

- Experience into Flutter.

- Experience with multiple programming languages and has the attitude and ability to learn new languages without inhibition

- Knowledge of mobile best practices ,design patterns, best deployment practices to ensure smooth roll-outs

- Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and not afraid to get hands dirty

- Ability to design optimizing continuous high-volume data to the Mobile with smooth screen transitions.

- Experience with resource allocation and ability to manage and implement agile development process

- Extensive experience managing development teams
