AVP - Middle Office - Equities - Inv Bank

Our client is one of the leading Investment Banking Operations company, with its operations based in Mumbai.

Looking for an AVP for the Equities Operations, to be a Part of the team which handles the middle office function for Equity finance, Cash Prime Brokerage and Cash Equities.

- Trade Support/ Desk support

- Trade amendments including margin, pricing and billing

- Inter / Intra company reconciliations and reconciling trade, position and cash

- Fails management

- Reporting including daily, weekly and monthly MIS, corporate actions

- Collateral Management

- Managing clients and counterparties

- Creating client packs

- Processing cashflows

- Risk management – Regular interactions with risk, legal and compliance teams

- Staying involved in metrics collation, trending analysis, weekly calls with the stakeholders on issues related to systems, aged breaks and enhancements, coordinating within the regions on common issues, timely escalations

Looking for candidates with

- Knowledge of investment banking

- Thorough technical understanding of Equities product (vanilla and derivatives i.e. swaps)

- Core knowledge of various markets and its nuances

- Understanding of complete trade life cycle of relevant Equity products

Role based in Mumbai.
