Team: Merger & Acquisition (M&A) - Execution

Designation: Assistant Vice President (AVP)

Responsibilities:

- Experience in execution of IB deals (specifically M&A) in Large/Mid Corporate domain

- Pitch book preparation and Teaser preparation for clients/deals

- Maintaining relationship with clients throughout the transaction and post closure for ensuring future business potential

- Information Memorandum preparation required for possible/signed mandates

- Background research on specific targets wherein we are pitching to our clients on buy side

- Very good knowledge on financial modeling (not negotiable) - should be able to build the model from scratch.

- Strong grip on sector database, company research, deal analysis and valuation skills

- Update on sector coverage which will be useful when we pitch to potential clients for buyside or sell side mandates

- Understanding business with balance deep industry knowledge and competition mapping

- Familiar with Indian Companies/Income Tax and other regulatory framework as well as regulatory knowledge of any Overseas region for executing M& A transactions

- Responsibility for overall project management. Maintain close oversight during transaction implementation, including close involvement at key stages (e.g. initial mandate stage to build client confidence, negotiations, documentation etc.)

Key Result Areas: Transaction Ownership & Execution Focus, Business Development Process Management & Excellence, Subject matter understanding & knowledge

Candidate's Profile: Sector Agnostic experience with strong communication skills and excellent understanding of various Merger & Acquisition (M&A) process steps and regulatory framework.

Experience: Candidate for AVP level needs to have overall experience of 5-6 years on M&A deals.

Qualification: Post-graduate; Preferably (CA/CFA/MBA)

Reporting To: Managing Director along with Executive Director for select transactions

Salary Bandwidth: Depending on candidate's background and experience
