Associate Vice President – Marketing

This company was divested to a strategically selected multi-national at the end of 2010 such as to provide accelerating growth prospects to the company and its several hundred employees.

Job Description

- Trade marketing – plan and manage the execution of road shows, town halls and other alliances and partnerships to target potential retailers into the program

- Consumer marketing – create awareness and pull for the innoworth program, for both retailers as well as consumers

- Ensure effective execution in line with the agreed objectives

- Plan and execute a pre-agreed calendar of events and promotions

Internal Interfaces

- Liaison with Business Development & Sales teams

- Liaison with regional teams for marketing execution at local levels

External Interfaces

- Interaction with external agencies and vendors

- Third party alliances and partners in the trade

- 6-8 years relevant experience

- Exposure to Trade marketing, Sales and Promotions, Regional marketing in an FMCG environment will be ideal

- Someone worked in specialized sales promotion agencies , local activation agencies or activation division of advertising agencies (eg Linterland, Ogilvy Action etc) can also be considered

- MBA (preferably in Marketing)
