AVP - Marketing Analytics - BFSI

We are hiring for AVP role into Marketing Analytics for Gurgaon location

Note: Must have exposure into Banking and financial domain

The Specialist Area:

- This role is key to the delivery of timely, relevant and impactful product, pricing, market and competitor insight to a range of stakeholders

- Insight provided will support efforts to:

a) Acquire, retain or cross/up sell to customers through supporting new product or campaign development

b) Effectively manage the cost base of the business (e.g. supporting decisions on pricing)

Education:

- Highly numerate with an enquiring analytical mind supported by a degree / masters in a mathematics, statistics or operational research

- 2+ years experience in managing a team, setting workload, understanding priorities and providing direction. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently

- Min 6 years experience in an Analytics role with experience working directly with onshore financial services clients

- Formal training in project management techniques

Technical Knowledge:

- Advanced skills and experience across analytics tools /systems including SAS, Teradata, SQL.

- A specialist knowledge of data management to support analytics, MI and execution of customer and product strategies

- Strong Microsoft application skills

- Experience in commercial/financial/risk analytics, CRM or database marketing.

- Well-developed knowledge and practical experience of applying mathematical models and statistical techniques to a variety of business problems.

- Experience of market intelligence partner data/tools (e.g. CACI Cognos, GfK FRS SQD, Moneyfacts Analyser, etc.) would be an advantage. Dealing with multiple data sources from internal or external databases is required. Coverage of both Retail and Commercial Banking is ideal.
