AVP/Manager - User Acceptance Testing - BFSI

Role :

This role is for a UAT Test Manager resource responsible for leading small and medium sized or portions of large, more complex projects in support of the FCPS delivery of programs/projects in the US, EMEA, APAC and LATAM regulatory reporting groups and general ledger operations. The role works closely with Global Technology and Operations, CFO and LOB stakeholders

Responsibilities :

- Leads UAT in Finance Change Europe Regulatory Reporting

- Manages GFCI team to support users in UAT and Regression execution

- Responsible for user testing strategy, planning and execution management across ERR

- Liaising with technology teams to ensure UAT environment readiness

- Coordinating availability for UAT execution during the sprint testing window and accordingly allocate JIRAs for testing

- Ensure all UAT JIRAs are reviewed, validated and signed off by users by UAT deadline

- Monitor UAT progress update and status at JIRA level and keep management updated with daily progress via end of day status reports

- Liaise with users, change BAs and technology teams to ensure any defects encountered during UAT are thoroughly documented and actively tracked through to closure

- Provide required support to technology teams for quarterly regression testing prior to production release

Requirements :

Education : B.Com (Hons) or Pass+ good accounting background or CA/ICWA/CS Intermediate

Certifications If Any

- Project Management

Experience Range : 14 to 16 years

Foundational skills :

- Strong Finance background, Commerce Graduate or Post Graduate

- Understanding of general ledger and financial reporting concepts

- Project management and system development experience leading project teams

- Good people and team leadership skills

- Professional written and verbal communication skills

- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills, ability to build strong rapport, respect and trust with key stakeholders and constituents

- Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced, every-changing, highly collaborative environment

- High attention to detail, detail-oriented, analytical and good with numbers

- Proficient in MS: Excel, PowerPoint

- Project or test management experience in financial regulatory reporting

Desired skills :

- Exposure to SAP, Oracle or other ERP/general ledger systems

- Experience with systems development lifecycle practices/methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall methods

- Experience with BAC enterprise change management policies, standards and tools

- Other technical and data manipulation/analysis skills, including MS Project, MS Visio, MS Access, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.

Work Timings : 11:30 am to 8:30 pm
