Hiring for one of the leading Investment banks in Banglore Job Responsibilities: 1. Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting functions 2. Prepare/review journal entries 3. Prepare financial statements for funds and liaise with clients and external auditors 4. Prepare investor capital calls, distributions, financial reports, and capital statements 5. Understand and analyze fund agreements in order to determine the impact on financial reporting and partner capital accounting requirements 6. Ownership and accountability of resources responsible for timely and accurate resolution of cash and securities reconciliation breaks 7. Assist management in developing process efficiencies aimed at reducing daily break volume 8. Assist/support the Client Delivery function with special projects and requests 9. Identify fund issues and escalate to Manager on a timely basis. Experience and Qualifications: 1. Bachelors degree in Accounting - CA / ICWA / MBA/ MCom 2. Min 3 years of experience in Fund accounting experience 3. Experience working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results 4. Experience using partnership accounting applications (e.g., Investran) a plus 5. Experience with projects and process improvement initiatives is a plus
